1) All you really have is your word. Don’t compromise it. If you say you’re gonna do something, honor a commitment, then do it. Even if it costs you to do it. 2) Know your banker, personally.

Get busy living, or get busy dying.

Analytical, data driven and laid back.

Clutter, indecision and being on time.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
When we’re able to help someone out that has lost hope on ever fixing their home, thinking it’s not worth anything.
Also, telling someone who’s been losing sleep at night waiting to hear what we have to say about their home…and letting them know it’s repairable and not going to cost a million dollars, or that what they’re experiencing is normal.

What is the best piece of advice you were given?
“I have two that I think of often! One, my dad told me “”nothing is free, you have to work for everything in life, never assume anything and count on no-one to help you through””…he was 100% correct!
2nd best one was- I was looking to move way out in the country at a young age…an old man who I admired very much gritted his teeth and told me to “”stay in the city, make your money as long as you can…then you can have a place like this!”” I remember it really took the wind out of my sail at the time and bruised my ego a little! ha! “

Make a Wish Foundation, Back the Blue, Wildlife management and Coastal Conservation.
What are three of your pet peeves?
People that don’t do what they say their going to do, Tailgaters, and anyone asking for a well-done steak! That’s just un-Texan!

A home is typically the biggest investment a person has. So I enjoy helping people who have real problems with their foundations find solutions that will last a lifetime.

My mom is an accountant so I learned early on about saving money and setting up accounts for my future.
